Getting Started
How do I install Tally on my Shopify store?
Installing Tally is simple. Search for "Tally" in the Shopify App Store, click Install, and follow the prompts. Our EZ-Install feature will automatically create a pre-configured product template. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes.
Do I need any technical knowledge to use Tally?
Not at all. Tally was designed to be user-friendly for everyone. If you can use Shopify, you can use Tally. No coding, no complex setup—just install and start accepting orders.
Which Shopify plans is Tally compatible with?
Tally works with all Shopify plans, including Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Shopify Plus. The app integrates seamlessly with any theme.
Features & Functionality
What file formats does Tally accept?
Tally accepts PNG, JPG/JPEG, SVG, PDF, TIFF, and AI files. You can enable or disable specific formats in your settings based on your preferences.
How does the automatic pricing work?
You set your price per square inch (or centimeter) in the settings. When a customer uploads an image, Tally automatically detects the dimensions based on pixel density and calculates the price in real-time. Customers see the price update as they adjust sizing.
What is gang sheet generation?
Gang sheeting is the process of arranging multiple images on a single print sheet to maximize material usage and minimize waste. Tally's algorithm automatically optimizes image placement, saving you hours of manual layout work.
Can customers remove backgrounds from their images?
Yes! Tally includes AI-powered background removal. Customers can remove backgrounds with a single click, eliminating the need for back-and-forth file revisions.
How do bulk discounts work?
You can set up quantity-based discount tiers in the settings. For example, 10% off orders over $100, 15% off over $200. Discounts are automatically applied at checkout, encouraging larger orders.

Will my customers find Tally easy to use?
Absolutely. The upload interface is intuitive and straightforward. Customers simply drag and drop their images, see instant pricing, and add to cart. No confusing steps or technical knowledge required.
Can customers see print quality before ordering?
Yes. Tally displays a DPI quality indicator (Low/Medium/High) so customers know exactly what print quality to expect based on their image resolution and chosen size.
Is there a size limit for uploads?
You control the maximum print dimensions in your settings. Tally can handle large format prints—you define the limits based on your equipment capabilities.

Is there a free trial?
Yes! All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. Test all features and see the time savings before committing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no long-term contracts or commitments. Cancel anytime from your Shopify admin with no penalties or hidden fees.
